yep, we're gearing up to head to the mountains tomorrow.
the camping checklist is on the counter. I'm known for my skills (aka obsession) with list making.
the tent and cots have been tested. all parts and pieces are accounted for. which makes sense since we just purchased them last Sunday.
tomorrow am after we deliver the oldest to science camp for the day and the rest of us will head to the local Mart to gather the final supplies.
the boys are looking forward to toad hunting, fishing, and not showering. only boys right?!
I am looking forward to no cell service, reading my book, and hiking around the lake.
my husband is looking forward to...hmmm...not sure because he's never been camping before! WHAT.IN.THE.WORLD?!?!
yes folks it's true this is our first official family camping trip and Ted's first official camping trip EVER!
grandma and grandpa headed up the mountain today to claim our camp site and after the oldest completes his day of camp tomorrow afternoon we will hit the trail.
we are excited for this adventure at Bull Prairie Lake!
