Weekend

All in all a great weekend!

Friday night~played elf at Dorothy's mom's store...The Petal Pusher! Seriously fun time decorating a display Christmas tree and drinking a very yummy peppermint mocha! Beautiful Christmas decorations in the store and a lot of other very cool decorating items to go with the yummy drinks, flowers and balloons!:)

Saturday~all day shopping trip with my mom! So fun! Great deals at the mall and Kohl's and checked out some cool stuff at Beaver Bark and the Trac. Who knew Beaver Bark had so much cool Christmas stuff. We shopped until we dropped...literally! I left at 6:30 am and returned about 9 pm. Now that's a full day of shopping!

Today~church...great service about integrity! How often do you lie, bend the truth, omit the truth...something to think about. One girl interviewed on a video clip Pastor played before his sermon thought she was honest about 47% of the time...47% are you kidding me? How did she come up with that? What I got from it was always be honest, but always being honest doesn't mean you have to be always be brutally honest.

After church to the movies...The Bee Movie. Very cute...boys loved it...so did we! My parents joined us and then we went to lunch after. FYI-if you are going to the Bee Movie be aware that the trailer for The Golden Compass is played before the show.

Back to church for small group and then dessert at our place! The boys were very excited to have our friends over. They play together in the nursery while we have our bible study and then we travel over to someone's house for snacks. It usually takes about 5 minutes to get from church to whoever is hosting. The kids greet each other like it has been an eternity! Cracks me up every time!
