{"Practice Makes Perfect"...}

...Well maybe not perfect but better! In any case, Justin is loving soccer! Last year he was the littlest kid on the team. This year he is the biggest and is taking full advantage of that!

Welcome to the Seedlings Wednesday night practice! We are intense here folks! We warm up...we stretch...and we talk strategy for the game on Saturday!

After a few drills...its live scrimmage time! We spent the first four years teaching him to share, to be nice to his friends and to be careful of others. On year five...that's all over! We are teaching the killer instinct here! Get the ball, keep the ball, don't let anyone take the ball, and SCORE, SCORE, SCORE!!!!!

And the all important water break. I believe the ratio is two minutes of soccer to 5 minutes of water break and we only practice for a total of 45 minutes! So maybe they are still 5 and not training for the World Cup team! Don't worry Dad...keeping my perspective!

Back to the field!

And back for a water break!

And back to the field! Do you see the pattern here?

Okay so here we are back to actually playing soccer!

It boils down to this, Justin gets to go twice a week and spend about an hour each time, running up and down the field with his little friends and here and there kicking the ball and loves every minute of it! He does get very excited when he scores a goal and I love seeing this look on his face!

Plus it gives me an opportunity to try to learn how to use my new camera! Tonight's experiment...adjusting the exposure...experiment failed! For future shoots will stick with the auto settings until I read the instruction manual!;)

What a fun time - you can tell he loves it by the grin on his face (constantly)... and enjoy that camera... it will get easier to understand... just keep practicing!
Happy Thursday to you!
