We loaded up our "Operation Christmas Child" boxes tonight! The boys drew pictures to put in each of the boxes and we stuffed 'em full of goodies! It was fun and a great way to start teaching the boys that it's the giving that's the most important part of the Christmas season,not the "getting". We talked about how Jesus wants us to share with others that don't have as much as we do. How Jesus wants us to give gifts to each other, just like he gave gifts to us. The gift of eternal life in heaven!
Justin said "Mom Jesus' gift is taking away our sins!" He is really starting to understand what Jesus did for him and for all of us! Love that Jesus is touching his heart in a real way! Love that he has taken the first steps toward a life with Christ! So very thankful for that!

We did ours this week, too! There was a great arcticle in Clubhouse Jr. about O.C.C. I think it helped our boys understand just where these gifts are going! If anyone would like to read it, let me know!

It is awesome to see Jesus shining through our kids, isn't it! We packed up our gift box last night and watched the excitement with each goodie that was placed inside. Great idea to include a picture!
